The original Connecticut Shade wrapped Por Larraņagas with a Dominican binder and a blend of Dominican long fillers are recognized by their smooth smoking and pleasing aroma and their artful white and navy boxes. Initially introduced in Cuba, Por Larraņagas have an age-old history of being a favorite cigar of smokers throughout the years. Dating back to 1834, Por Larraņaga was the rarest of the legendary cigars to come out of Menendez & Garcia, Havana's most fabled cigar makers.
