The 2008 Christmas pipe continues the 5-year theme based on the main characters of the famous book *'A Christmas Carol'* by Charles Dickens, which was initiated in 2006. This edition series is strictly limited to annually only 300 pipes worldwide. The main characters for the coming two years will be the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Future. This year's pipe is an elegant group 4 medium to large size Hungarian in Bruyere finish with polished Easyloader rim top. It features a 10mm 92.5% pure Sterling Silver band inscribed "The Ghost of Christmas Past". The solid tamper depicts in great detail the Ghost and is handcrafted from approximately 80 grams of finest English Sterling Silver. The highly collectable Dunhill Christmas pipes and tampers are presented in a leather-bound book held in typical red & green Christmas colours with golden embossing in co-ordination with the previous books of this series and each set is accompanied by its numbered limited edition certificate.

It is a Group 3 Billiard in Shell Briar finish fitted with a Sterling silver hallmarked military mount. The band is decorated with the engraving The Ghost of Christmas Present, one of the main character of Charles Dicken�s famous Christmas Carol. The accompanying Sterling silver tamper depicts in great detail the Ghost of Christmas Present.
